Elam C Parrott Jr.

Mr. Elam C. Parrott Jr. , age 77 of Griffin, passed away on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at Brightmoor Hospice.

Mr. Parrott was born in Woodland, Georgia on November 29, 1940. He is preceded in death by his parents, Elam C. Parrott, Sr. and Lucile Smith Parrott; son, Joe Allen Parrott. Mr. Parrott retired after 30 years of service from the Ford Motor Company in Hapeville, Georgia. He enjoyed working in the yard, loved his dogs and loved watching NASCAR races.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Dunnahoo Parrott; son, Larry Parrott; granddaughters, Crystal Smith and April Steward; sisters, Buvenia Howard, Martha Bolsius and husband Robert; several nieces and nephews.

A Visitation for Mr. Elam C. Parrott Jr. will be on Thursday, September 20, 2018 from 12:30 pm until 2:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be conducted in the Chapel with Dr. Keith Wesley officiating. Interment will follow in Griffin Memorial Gardens.
