Elizabeth McKibben Webster, a lifelong resident of Griffin, passed away peacefully at Brightmoor Hospice on September 28, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmo Park McKibben and Martha Gaines McKibben.
Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Robert Webster; children by marriage, Amelia Webster Gillis (Brannon), Delia Webster Collins; grandchildren, Brady, Lane, Adleigh, Chandler, and Caroline; brother, Bill McKibben (Diane); nephew, Will McKibben (Vanessa); niece, Anna McKibben Taylor (Drew), all of whom she helped raise and loved as her own.
Liz will be loved and remembered for her kind, loving and sweet manner. She was a long-term employee of Holan Manufacturing in Griffin and Panasonic USA in Peachtree City, working as a Purchasing Agent. She was also a life-long member of the First Presbyterian Church in Griffin.
The family is especially appreciative for the end of life care by Brightmoor Hospice and staff.
Visitation for Liz will be Sunday, October 2, 2022 from 4:00 pm until 5:00 pm at the First Presbyterian Church of Griffin. A service will follow at 5:00 pm in their sanctuary. Pastor Austin Thomas will officiate. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Atlanta Humane Society (atlantahumane.org) or The American Cancer Society (cancer.org) in Liz’s memory.
