Emmett W. Jefferson

Mr. Emmett Jefferson of Milner, passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at Brightmoor Hospice.
Mr. Jefferson was born in Homestead, Florida. He is preceded in death by his parents, Emmett Jefferson and Ruby Lee McDowell; brother, Willie C. Willis; sister, Annie Lee Bethel. He graduated from Fairmont High School, retired from Perfect Cut Baber Salon, he also worked for Buffalo Cab Car #18, Supreme Corporation, Commerical Bank and Clarks Cabinet Shop. In his pastime, he enjoyed being with his family, singing, fishing, grilling, hunting and reading. He was a devoted member of Pine Grove Baptist Church, serving on the Ministerial Staff, Deacon Board and the Male Choir.
He leaves to cherish, his devoted wife; Marian Jefferson; his children Wanda Driver, Emmett Jefferson, and Nikitta Jefferson; 7 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; brother Phil (Bonita) Willis; several nieces, nephews and extended family.
Visation will be Monday, October 19, 2020 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A celebration of life for Emmett Jefferson will be Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at 11a.m. in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home.
