Eric Jonathan Bibby

Eric Jonathan Bibby, beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 25, 2022, at the age of 44. He is survived by his wife, Jean Marie Bibby of 24 years, his children, Luke, Kayla, Kaitlyn, and Krista Bibby, his parents Bob and Marlene Bibby, brothers Bobby and Joe Bibby, with many more family members and friends.

He was a proud husband, father who dearly loved the Lord and his family. He spent the majority of his life in Lafayette, Indiana and more recently in Brooks, Georgia.  

Eric achieved nearly fifteen years at Caterpillar with his most recent role as a Sales Manager for the Large Electric Power Division in the South-Eastern United States. 

Eric was a proud graduate of Purdue University with a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. He was a devoted student to the Engineering Projects in Community Service (EPICS) and went on to serve as an Advisor for the program. Eric also served as the liaison for the CAT United Way team and was instrumental in raising funds for that organization. Most important to Eric was the work he was doing for the Kingdom serving as a Deacon, Treasurer, Sunday School Teacher for the youth, and many, many other roles. 

A funeral service will be held for Eric at the First Baptist Church Peachtree City in Peachtree City, GA, on Thursday, August 4, 2022, at 1 pm. All who knew Eric are welcome to attend.
