Estelle Moore

Mrs. Estelle Moore, 96, born April 23, 1922 in Birdie, Georgia transitioned on November 30, 2018 at Brightmoor Hospice. She was preceded in death by her parents: Annie & Henry Miller, husband: Dave Moore, Son: Dave Frank Moore, daughter: Juanita Moore Alexander, granddaughter: Pamela D. Alexander, great grandson: Todderick J. Stanley. Her sisters: Odessa, Annie Lee, Fannie Mae and Betty. Her brothers: John Henry, Douglas and Lewis. Estelle retired from Best Manufacturing Inc. for over 20 years. Estelle was a jovial person, she loved cooking and entertaining, she was famous for her buttery pound cake, Estelle enjoyed traveling with her late husband to Florida and New Orleans, some of her travels included New York and cruising the high seas on Carnival, but one of her greatest passions was watching wrestling on Monday and Tuesday nights.

Estelle leaves to cherish her memory, her loving son: Rev. Oscar James Moore Sr., her sister: Grace Wimbush, her grandchildren: Rita Alexander, Nathan Alexander, Cynthia Guider, Montina Harris ( Lester), Oscar Moore Jr. ( Lisa), Torey Hartwell ( Kevin ), Shawyna Lemons, Erica Robinson ( Jarrett ), Coby Moore, Michael Moore and a host of great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren, cousins, relatives and friends.

Calling hours will be 5-7 pm Friday at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Services will be at 12 noon Saturday in the chapel of Conner-Westbury. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
