Faye Harrison Beatty

Faye (MEMAW) H. Beatty, was born November 28, 1937 in Griffin, Georgia. She is preceded in death by her father, Albert (Irene) Harrison, mother, Margie (Watson) Pritchett and daughter, Trina Conn.

She is survived by her daughter, Jeania Purcell of Augusta, sons, Barry Purcell of Alpharetta, Kevin (Cindy) Beatty of Fayetteville, grandchildren, Brian (Chelsea) Martin, Jennifer Galloway, Tripper (Allison) Conn, Tabatha Miller, Alex Purcell, Andy (Lisa) Beatty, Courtney Beatty, Matthew Beatty, Tyler Beatty, brothers, Tommy (Lorice) Harrison, Wayne (Pauline) Harrison, sisters, Gail (Bobby) Stewart and Rachel Harrison. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Faye retired from Bellsouth after 37 years of service. She also worked for Park and Fly for many years.

One of the highlights of her life was being able to carry the touch in the 1996 Olympics. She was an avid sports fan who rooted on her teams, the Atlanta Braves, Falcons and Georgia Bulldogs.

A visitation will be Saturday, June 19, 2021 from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 4:00 pm in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
