Faye Armstrong Scruggs

Mrs. Faye Armstrong Scruggs age 76 of Hampton passed away, Sunday, November 29, 2020 at her residence.

Mrs. Scruggs was born in Gordon, Alabama on December 5, 1943. Her parents, James Henry and Nettie Huff Dickerson; husbands, Rommie Armstrong and James Henry Scruggs; grandson, Thomas Armstrong and infant daughter all precede her in death. She was a retired bus driver for Clayton County School System, a member of Jonesboro Church of God for over 50 years.

She is survived by her children and their spouses, Greg and Theresa Armstrong, Kathy and Jay Sherwood, Sandy and Rodney Lambert, Michelle and Farrel Addis, Kevin and Pam Armstrong, Christina and Daniel Perry; 28 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; sisters and brother-in- law, Virginia and Billy Pryce, Mary Hart; brother and sister-in-law, Dennis and Anita Dickerson; sister-in-law, Jewel Messer; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Wednesday, December 2, 2020 from 10:00 am until 12:00pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Follow by a funeral service in the chapel. Pastor Robert Ford and Pastor Daniel Perry will officiate. Interment will be in Eastlawn Memorial Park, McDonough.
