Faye "Cherree" Womack

Faye “Cherree” Womack, age 56 of Griffin, Georgia passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2023.

Cherree was born in Griffin, Georgia on June 20, 1966. She was preceded in death by her father, Leonard “Buddy” Akin. Cherree was a loving daughter, sister and friend to all.

Survivors include her mother, Paulette Harris; brother, Dan Akin; stepsisters, Julie Fennell (Keith), Gwen Akin; stepbrother; Chris Harris (Dana); nieces, Jessica Duffey (Andrew) and Jennifer Rice (Josh) numerous great nieces and great nephews.

A visitation for Cherree Womack will be Wednesday, March 29, 2023 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home followed by a funeral service in the Chapel. Gene Simmons will officiate; Interment will be in Griffin Memorial Gardens.
