Mr. Floyd “Dean” ODean Moore, age 88 of Fayetteville, Georgia passed away, Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at Brightmoor Hospice.
Dean was born in Loganville, Georgia on June 1, 1931. He is preceded in death by his parents, Dewey Floyd Moore and Ossie Bell Burnette Moore; wife, Alma Jean Ware Moore; children, Debra Jean Moore Nelson, James Allen Gaskin, Gerald Neal Gaskin; siblings, Thomas Moore, Hazel Bowen, Albert Moore, Larry Moore. Dean was a veteran of the United States Army. He worked for Ford Motor Company for over 25 years. He also worked a bread route and delivered newspapers on the side. Dean believed in working hard to provide for his family.
Survivors include daughter, Kay Michelle Bell and husband Mike; grandchildren, Jim Miller and wife Kimberly, Jade Nelson, Kyle Bell and wife Rebecca, Mikayla Bell, Susan Imel, Edward Nam; great-grandchildren, Haley Barfield, Satyam Imel, Kale Miller, Darsana Imel, Kara Miller, Kade Bell; daughter-in-law, Chu Cha Miller .
A visitation for Dean Moore will be Friday, October18, 2019 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A funeral service will be Saturday, October 19, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Moore’s Temple Baptist Church, 4075 Jonesboro Road Hampton, Georgia 30228. Burial will follow at Camp Memorial Park.
