Frances Freeman Jones

Mrs. Frances Freeman Jones, age 76 of Griffin, Georgia passed away Friday, March 26, 2021 at her residence.
Mrs. Jones was born in Milner, Georgia on October 29, 1944. Her parents, Luvin Guy Freeman and Ruby Mae Wooten Freeman, husband, Julian Jones all preceded her in death. Mrs. Jones was a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church and the Georgia Farm Bureau.
Survivors include her children and their spouses, Tammy and Mike Canterbury, Julie and Bryan Hayes, Scott and Tiffany Jones, Nicki and Kerry Gore; grandchildren, Tara and Steven Green, Kelli Canterbury, Ashton and Ron Green, Alan and Amy Canterbury, Dalton Gore, Darla Gore, Jacob Jones, Mathew Jones; great grandchildren, Avery Green, Emmie Green, Jack Canterbury, Milo Canterbury, Ryder Canterbury, Hadley Green and expected in May, Piper Green; “honorary grandchildren Megumi “Meg Jones” Ando and Sam “Jones” Lou; sister Dorothy Jones, brother and sister-in-law Lester and Paula Freeman, sister and brother-in-law Deborah and Mike Glover; several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Monday, March 29, 2021 from 9:30am until 11:00 am at Oak Hill Baptist Church. Followed by a memorial service in the sanctuary. Dr. Benny Tate and Reverend John Nance will officiate. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
