Frances M. McCutcheon

Frances Marie McCutcheon, age 79 of Griffin, Georgia passed away Thursday, July 14, 2022 in Huntsville, Alabama.

Frances was born in Larksburg, Tennessee on April 9, 1943.  Her parents, Redus and Bessie “Nanoo” Malone, son, Roger Cole, and siblings, Sharon Merrill and Tommy Malone preceded her in death. She retired after 30 years of service from Henry County where she worked as a 911 operator. She enjoyed cooking, gambling, traveling and cruising with the “Golden Girls”.

Survivors include her children, Diane (Brant) Roberson, Virginia Dobbs, Bobby Cole; stepson, Michael Cole; granddaughters, Pamela (Brian) Vandecar, Kimberly Hughes; great grandchildren, Gavin Pressly, Adalynn Vandecar; siblings, Mary “Mert” Evans, Doris Williams, Sandra Hargrove, Virginia Laws and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be Sunday, July 17, 2022 from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home followed by a service in the Chapel, Pastor Dee Martin will officiate. After the service, friends are invited to join the family for a meal in the family center at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home.
