Francis Earl Thiele

Mr. Francis Earl Thiele, age 79 of Newnan, passed away on October 7, 2018 at Brightmoor Hospice in Griffin.

Mr. Thiele was born in Pocahontas, Arkansas on September 24, 1939. He is preceded in death by his wife Joyce Thiele; parents, Mike and Dorothy Thiele; brother’s Bill Thiele and Lewis Thiele. Mr. Thiele served our country honorably in the United States Army. He then went to work with Eastern Airlines and later went to work with Local #72 as a Plumber and Pipefitter.

Mr. Thiele is survived by his children, Wayne (Linda) Thiele of Albany, NY; Donnie (Joanne) Thiele of Newnan, GA, Diane (Michael) Whelan of Roanoke, AL and Teresa (Mark) Price of Newnan; grandchildren, Rebecca (Darren) Whitmer, Bobby Whelan, Donovan Whelan, Joseph (Shelly) Thiele, Jonathon Thiele, Donnie Thiele, Ffion (Max) Jones, Carley Pilson, Haley Price and Amanda Price; 9 great-grandchildren; brother, Jerry (Eunice) Thiele; sister’s, Mary Weisenbach, Stella Lundry, Delores Thiele and Regina Pickney; sisters-in-law, Judy (Don) Hayes and Linda Powell.

It was Mr. Thiele’s wishes to be cremated, a memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at 5:00 pm at Faith Bible Church, 4907 HWY #34, Sharpsburg, GA. 30277.
