Frank Nesby Scoggins

Mr. Frank “Nesby” Scoggins, age 80 of Griffin, passed away on Thursday, April 4, 2019.

Mr. Scoggins was born on December 14, 1938 in Concord, Georgia. He is preceded in death by his parents, William Frank Scoggins and Isma Quick Scoggins. He was a veteran of the United States Army and retired from The Coca-Cola Company. He loved to work on lawn mowers and all things mechanical, loved to fish and most of all, he loved to laugh. He attended Griffin First Assembly.

Survivors include his wife, Phyllis Brown Scoggins; siblings and in-laws, Evelyn Wilkerson and Billy, Ann Brooks, Raybon Scoggins and Patricia, Virgil Scoggins and Bunny, Rayford Scoggins and Pat, Annie Mae Gwyn and Sonny, Ruth Chambers, Edna Wilson, Gail Pryor and Mark, Ray Brown, Sharon Smith, Vicky Brown; several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will for Frank “Nesby” Scoggins will be Monday, April 8, 2019 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home, with a funeral service following in the Chapel. Reverend Gene Walton will officiate. Interment will follow in Griffin Memorial Gardens.
