Gail Martin Burrows

Gail Martin Burrows, age 55 of Griffin, passed away on Thursday, April 29, 2021 at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, Georgia.

Martin was born in Birmingham, Alabama on March 29, 1966. His father, John Henry Burrows, Jr., preceded him in death.

Martin was employed at Piedmont Henry Hospital as a Registered Nurse and during his career was a recipient of the prestigious Daisy Award that recognizes those nurses who go above and beyond to provide care for their patients. Martin was an animal lover and enjoyed doing construction projects around his sheep farm.

Martin is survived by his wife, Margaret Turner Burrows; children, Lauren Kuenzi Hill, Gailand Elijah Burrows, Joshua Caleb Burrows, Zephaniah Daniel Burrows; sister, Jennifer Martin (James); brothers, John Burrows (Carol), Dale Mark Burrows (Olena), Chez Haskins; mother, Florence Stewart and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Sunday, May 2, 2021 at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home from 11:30 am-12:30 pm followed by a funeral service in the Chapel. Rabbi Kevin Solomon will officiate. Interment will be at 2:00 pm in East Lawn Cemetery in McDonough.
