Gail A. White

Gail Amelia Burdette White, age 72, of Griffin, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at her residence.
Gail was born in Atlanta, Georgia on August 31, 1950.  Her parents, Melvin Claude Burdette and Jacqueline Geraldine Ingram Burdette and her husband, Douglas Ray White, Sr. all precede her in death.
She was a member of Griffin First Assembly. She formerly worked for Chick-Fil-A and Spalding Regional Hospital. Arts and crafts were her hobby and she loved them.
She is survived by her children, Douglas White, Jr. and wife Melissa of Griffin; Gwenna Maddox and husband Lane of Griffin; Christopher White and wife Brooke of Covington; grandchildren Tyler White of Griffin; Brianna White of Griffin; Kimberly Massengale of Griffin; Kaylee Gearin and husband Josh of Barnesville; Connor White of Covington; Addison White of Covington; great grandchildren Jasper White, Amelia White, Kameron Massengale, Kaleb Massengale, Kolby Massengale, and Kali Massengale, Brandon Bloodworth, Lucas Gearin, Ayden Gearin, Raeleigh Gearin; brother, Milton and Ann Burdette; brother-in-law David and Cathy White of Griffin and several niece and nephews.
Visitation for Gail will be Thursday, February 2, 2023 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home.  A funeral service will be Friday, February 3, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Griffin First Assembly. Pastor Mike Freeman will officiate.  Interment will follow at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia. The family asks that you please omit flowers and make contributions to Griffin First Assembly Mission Dept., 2000 W. McIntosh Road, Griffin, Ga.
