Gary Walter Mason

Mr. Gary Walter Mason, age 66 of Griffin, Georgia passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at his residence.

Gary was born in Homer, Georgia on September 26, 1957. He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter Lee Mason and Annie Ruth Davis Mason. Gary was an electrician with Donaldson Electric Company for over 25 years. In his spare time, he was an avid gardener, a fearless beekeeper, and a persistent tinkerer.

Survivors include his wife, Monica Hicks Mason; daughters, Julie (Jim) Wicker, Michelle Mason; son, Kyle (Brittini) Mason; grandchildren, Mason Kendrick, Anna Wicker, Logan Mason; sisters, Sandra Mason Hicks, Ellen (James) Crawford, Karen (Chris) Rogers; several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be on Thursday, November 16, 2023 from 1:30 pm until 3:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow in the chapel with Reverend Wade Corley officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
