Gayle Walker Smith

Mrs. Gayle Walker Smith, age 80 of Griffin, Georgia passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at Brightmoor Nursing Center.

Mrs. Smith was born in Griffin, Georgia on March 13, 1939. She is preceded in death by her parents, Leon Wilson Walker and Nolie Barfield Walker; son, Scott Evans. She loved to read, sewing and crafting. Mrs. Smith was a loving mother and grandmother who was affectionately known as MeMe and MawMaw to so many.

She is survived by her children and their spouses, Leigh Ann and Donald Hall. Darla and Jose Vicente; daughter in law, Nancy Evans; grandchildren, Alisha Pitts, Katie Teal and husband Carl, Timothy Williams, Shekiniah Hall, Caleb Walker Hall; great grandchildren, Madison Cooley, Rowan Williams; sister, Debbie Bailey and husband Luther; nephew, Todd Hendrix.

Visitation will be at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home on Friday, February 7, 2020 from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM. A funeral service will follow in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury with Pastor Keith Ford officiating. Interment will be in the Union Cemetery.
