Gloria Jean Miller Brown

Gloria Jean Miller Brown, age 64 of Zebulon, Georgia passed away on Monday, July 11, 2022 at Piedmont Henry Hospital.

Gloria was born in Barnesville, Georgia on June 3, 1958. She is preceded in death by her parents, Eddie Joe Miller and Betty Jean Pennington Miller. She joined Mount Calvary Baptist Church at an early age, and attended Pike County schools. Gloria retired from the United States Army and the Pike County School System.

She leaves a host of devoted family members and friends to cherish her memory; son, Carlton Brown II; daughter, Akiria Brown; grandson, Ahmir Brown; brother and sister, James Pennington and Barbara Miller Demming; aunts, Annie Mae Pennington, Annie Mae Miller, and Erma Miller; special friends, Diane Barkley and Lou Clark; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Ms. Brown will be Saturday, July 16, 2022 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A funeral service will be on Sunday July 17, 2022 at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury, officiated by Reverend John Adams. Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Church, 717 Zebulon Road, Milner, Georgia, 30257.
