Mrs. Grace Chappell Bunn, age 79, of Griffin passed away Sunday, December 3, 2017 at Eternal Hope Hospice in Griffin.

Mrs. Bunn born in Fayette County, Georgia on March 9, 1938. She is preceded in death by her parents, Faydee Chappell and Ethel Lee Chappell. Mrs. Bunn was passionate about gardening and working in the yard. She also was very active in working with the elderly and taking care of their needs.

Survivors include her husband of 41 years Phil Bunn; daughters Lynn Dix of Griffin, Ginger (Dave) Mathis of Peachtree City; step-son Tim Bunn; granddaughter Alley Waldrop; step-granchildren Nick and Nathan Mathis, Jennifer (Jonathan) Long; step-great-grandchildren J.R. White, Hayden White, Blake Long and Hunter Long; brother Wendell (Faye) Chappell of Griffin.

A visitation for Mrs. Grace Chappell Bunn will be Monday, December 4, 2017 from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow the visitation at 7:00 pm in the chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Lupus Foundation of America-Greater Atlanta Chapter 1800 Lake Park Drive, Smyrna, GA 30080. Conner-Westbury Funeral Home, 1891 West McIntosh Road, Griffin, Georgia is in charge of the arrangements.
