Greg Ogletree

Gregory Glenn Ogletree, age 65, of Griffin passed away Saturday, July 23, 2022 at his residence.

Greg was born in Griffin, Georgia on October 28, 1956. His parents, Leonard Glenn and Frances Kitchens Ogletree; sister, Bebe McEntyre; nephew, Chris Allen all preceded him in death.

Greg was a former heavy machine operator who loved to ride his motorcycle and fish. He enjoyed many sports, including NASCAR, watching the Atlanta Braves and the Georgia Bulldogs. Greg loved his family and was always willing to help and support them in any way he could.

He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Susan Ogletree; daughter, Erin (Tyler) Whitehurst; grandchildren Rowan Whitehurst, Zoey Whitehurst; sister, Kathy Allen; cousin and best friends, Steve (Katrina) Benton; several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be Tuesday, July 26, 2022 from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home followed by a service in the Chapel.
