Mr. Guy L. Scott, Jr, age 49 of Griffin, passed away on Wednesday, September 27, 2017.

Mr. Scott was born in Griffin, Georgia on February 25, 1968. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Marion and Margaret Scott, and Floyd and Sarah Maner. He was an Eagle Scout, a graduate of Griffin High School, he was a licensed AP mechanic, loved to fly helicopters, and was a truck driver for Concrete Supply Company.

He is survived by his parents, Guy Scott Sr. and Shirley Walker Scott; aunts and uncles, Vincent and Maxine Scott, Kathy and Richard Neely, Ray Maner, Charlie and Rhonda Maner, and Warren and Devonna Maner; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A visitation for Mr. Guy L Scott Jr. will be on Sunday, October 1, 2017 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Following the visitation, a Graveside Funeral service will be conducted at 2:30 pm at Wildwood Baptist Church cemetery with Reverend Ed Lynch officiating. Interment will follow in the cemetery.
