Mr. Hiram Lanier Blackmon, age 68 of Griffin, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at Brightmoor Hospice.

Hiram was born in Griffin, Georgia on January 31, 1955. He is preceded in death by his parents, John Blackmon and Leila Logan Forrester; sister, Hettie Blackmon Chandler; brother, John Blackmon. Hiram loved the outdoors and loved to fish when he could.

Survivors include his wife, Peggy Pass Blackmon; daughter and son in law, Jennifer (Darren) Warren; grandson, Adam Warren; granddaughter, Meghan Warren; one great grandchild; sister, Barbara Utley; brother, Gary Blackmon; brother in law and sister in law, Chance and Linda Pitts; several nieces and nephews.

Hiram’s wishes were to be cremated and no services are scheduled at this time.

Conner-Westbury Funeral Home, 1891 W. McIntosh Road is in charge of the arrangements.
