Inge Marie Day, age 74 of Batesburg, SC went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, October 23, 2019.
Inge was born in Schenectady, NY on March 19, 1945. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Keller and Erika Sinkora; son, Jeffrey Griggs; granddaughter, Courtney Griggs; grandmother, Hildegard “Oma” Brandhorst; sister, Virginia Dorton; and step-father, Bernard Sinkora. Inge was a loving mother and dedicated grandmother who enjoyed spending time with all of her grandchildren at their school functions and family events. She served our Lord and Savior as a missionary in Baja California, Mexico and also devoted her time ministering to several women at Women's based centers in South Carolina and Georgia.
Survivors include her daughters, Kristina Jackson of Batesburg, SC; Erica Burdett and husband James Burdett of Ridge Spring, SC; grandchildren, Nicholas Denson, Taylor Jackson, Celeste Jackson, Nicole Burdett, Zoe Jackson, Alexander Burdett, Trinity Burdett, Lillian Burdett; brothers, William Keller, Johnny Sinkora, Erik Sinkora; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
A celebration of life for Inge Marie Day will be on November 2, 2019 at 1 p.m. at Celebration Church, 1765 Batesburg Highway, Batesburg, SC 29006.
