Mr. J.D. Crews, age 87 of Griffin passed away, Friday, October 4, 2019 at Wellstar Spalding Regional Hospital in Griffin.
Mr. Crews was born in Davidson County, North Carolina on September 5, 1932. He is preceded in death by his parents Marvin and Arie Crews; wife Helga Crews and a brother Jeffrey Allen Crews.
Survivors include his daughter Barbara Hathcox; sons Kenneth Crews and his wife Barbara, Russell Crews and his wife April; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren, and his first wife Fay Imogene Hinton.
Visitation will be Sunday, October 6, 2019 from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm at the Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A funeral service will be Monday, October 7, 2019 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Rev. Russell Crews will officiate.
