Mr. Donnie Self, age 59 of Griffin passed away, Monday, October 7, 2019 at Brightmoor Hospice in Griffin.
Donnie was born in Atlanta on June 22, 1960. He is preceded in death by his parents Donnie Stevens and Brenda Self. Donnie was a veteran of the United States Army, worked as forklift operator with Berry Global and was a member of East Griffin Baptist Church.
Survivors include his girlfriend Diane Butler; son Steven Adams; daughter’s Danielle Buck and her husband Zachery, Carlee Forehand and her husband Jason, Alisha Butler; eight grandchildren; brothers Raymond Edward Davis, Jr. and Bobby Pepper. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
It was Donnie’s wish to be cremated and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
