James Allen Lambert, Jr.

Mr. James Allen Lambert, Jr., age 64 of Griffin, Georgia passed away on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at Wellstar Spalding Regional Hospital. 

Mr. Lambert was born in Newnan, Georgia on Saturday, April 03, 1954 to the late James Allen Lambert, Sr .and the late Mildred Anne Bracknell Lambert. He retired as a Mail Room Clerk for the Department of Agriculture State of Georgia, was a member of the County Line Primitive Baptist Church of Carroll County, where he served as a deacon, a member of the Sacred Harp Singers and an avid Antique Collector.

He survived by wife, Peggy Lambert; daughters, Pamela (Joey) Helton Patterson of Newnan, Georgia, Jessica (Shawn) Lambert Duke of Griffin, Georgia; son, James Allen Lambert, III and Stephanie Pryor Lambert of Newnan, Georgia; grandchildren, Joey Patterson, Jr., Lauren Patterson, Madison Duke, Maddox Duke, Madalyn Duke, Sydney Lambert, Elizabeth Kate Lambert; brother, Owen (Susan) Lambert of Newnan, Georgia; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Mr. James Allen Lambert, Jr., will be Monday, September 24, 2018, from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at the Antioch Primitive Baptist Church in Whitesburg, Georgia. Mr. Lambert will Lie in State from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm. Services will be 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery of Newnan, Georgia at 2:00 pm.  Elder Tommy Patterson will officiate.
