James Alan Mattox

Mr. James Alan Mattox, age 62, of Griffin, Georgia passed away on March 26, 2021. James was born on March 3, 1959 in Atlanta, Georgia. He is also preceded in death by his father, John Hampton Mattox, Jr; sister, Linda Cheryl; brother, John Stephen Mattox.

James enjoyed spending time with his family. He loved photography and enjoyed music.

James is survived by his mother, Peggy Mattox; sisters, Diana Darwiche, Kay Mattox; brothers, Jeff Mattox, Joel Mattox, J. Thomas Mattox, Jason (Jada) Mattox; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Mr. James Alan Mattox will be on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm. A memorial service will follow in the Chapel. Reverend Gene Luke will officiate. In lieu of flowers contribution may be made to the charity of your choice in memory of James.
