James "Donald" Stinchcomb

James “Donald” Stinchcomb, age 86 of Concord, passed away on Monday, November 21, 2022 at Upson Regional Hospital.

Donald was born in Griffin, Georgia on January 5, 1936. His parents, Jack Stinchcomb and Inez Ogletree Stinchcomb preceded him in death. Donald was a proud veteran of the United States Army. He loved the outdoors and spent many hours fishing and hunting. His favorite hunting trip was always to Colorado to hunt elk and he enjoyed showing off the prize elk he had on display in his home.

Survivors for Donald Stinchcomb include his wife of 64 years, Bernice Stinchcomb; son, Donny Stinchcomb (Wendy); grandchildren, Lauren Stinchcomb (Casey) and Lane Stinchcomb (Gabby); great-grandchildren, Canaan Hardin and Layton Hardin; and sister, Shirley Johnson.

Visitation will be Saturday, November 26, 2022 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home followed by a funeral service in the chapel at 2:00 pm with Pastor Trey Powell and Pastor Billy Smith officiating. Interment will be in the Fincher Memorial Cemetery in Zebulon, Georgia. In Donald’s memory, donations may be made to Christ Chapel’s “Be the Light” program.
