James Thomas “Jack” Trammell
August 9, 1948 – February 10, 2021
 
James Thomas “Jack” Trammell made his transition to heaven on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at the age of 71. Jack was born on August 9th, 1948 in Atlanta Georgia.
 
Jack was a retired Clayton County Fire Fighter with 27 years of service. He also worked at the Clayton County Courthouse Sheriff’s Department for several years. Jack loved spending time with his family, friends, gardening, canning, running his produce stand and fishing. He never met a stranger and was the easiest person to talk to. He loved to make people laugh. He will be dearly missed. Jack was preceded in death by his children, Missy Trammell, Tony Trammell and Candance Matthews. His parents James Conway Trammell and Sara Jeanette Davis Trammell.
 
He is survived by his loving wife Connie Cahoon Trammell of 52 years; daughter, Tana (Charlie) Clay; son Jody (Dana) Trammell; son Patrick Haley; grandchildren Hannah Clay, Dawson Clay, Seth Trammell, Ethan Trammell and Eli Matthews; sister Mary Sue Steele; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and great-nieces and great-nephews.
 
All are welcome to A Celebration of Life Saturday, February 27 at
1:25 pm at New Life Assembly of God at 1630 Zebulon Road, Griffin GA 30224 with Pastor Jeff Shelton officiating.
 
After the service the family welcomes family, friends and customers to join them at the 3T Farm Stand at 2126 Jackson Road Griffin, GA from 
4-6 pm to honor Jack, share stories and eat some boiled peanuts.
