James C (Butch) Goodman

Mr. James (Butch) Goodman age 81 of Griffin, Georgia passed away Monday, June 29, 2020.

Butch was born in Griffin, Georgia January 12, 1939. He was preceded in death by his wife Elsie S. Goodman; parents, Johnny I. Goodman and Irene Rowland Goodman; siblings, Bill, Dorsey, Hershall, Johnny (Bub), Jack, Grady, Rowland Goodman, Doris (Dot) Goodman, Julia Perry, Myra Crews, Sadie Eubanks. He was a member of Carver Road Baptist Church, owner of Spalding Plumbing and Heating. Butch loved eating breakfast at Krystal’s with the Boys” every morning, and enjoyed classic trucks.

He is survived by Glenda Harmon & Woody Norrell, Stephanie and Nick Truitt and their children, Skyler & Ryleigh; Shane and Nikki Harris and their children, Tucker, Wyatt, Madelyn, Elisah, Malachi, Lily; sister-in-law, Betty Lou Goodman, longtime friend, Echerd and family.

A visitation will be Thursday, July 2, 2020 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A funeral service will be Friday, July 3, 2020 at 1 pm in the chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Burial will be in Griffin Memorial Gardens.
