Mr. James Gordon (Jim) Reynolds, II age 76 of Griffin, Georgia passed away Sunday, November 25, 2018 at his residence.
Mr. Reynolds was born April 17, 1942. He is preceded in death by parents, James Gordon Reynolds, Sr. and Mamie Ruth Jackson Reynolds. He was a member of East Griffin Baptist Church, very active in Gideon’s International, and prison ministry at the Jackson Prison. Mr. Reynolds worked for many years for General Machine Shop, later owned Reynold’s Machine Design before his retirement.
Survivors include wife of 41 years, Bea G. Reynolds; brother, John Reynolds, aunt, Mrs. Lynn Johnson, sister-in-law, Pat Dye; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Col. Robert Ellis and Judy Gaddy; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation for Jim Reynolds will be Wednesday, November 28, 2018 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Funeral service will on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at 11:00 am at the East Griffin Baptist Church. Reverend Charles Killingsworth and Chaplin Bernard Miller will officiate. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flower’s please make contribution to Gideon’s International in memory of Jim
