Jamey Lee Sherwood

Jamey Lee Sherwood, age 59, of Griffin, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 27, 2024 at Wellstar Spalding Hospital.

Jamey was born in Griffin, Georgia on May 9, 1964 to Johnny Sherwood and Delores Carlyle Birdwell. He is preceded in death by his father and sisters, Janice Sherwood and Cynthia Sherwood.

Jamey is survived by his wife, Valerie Sherwood; son, Justin Cody Tuggle; mother, Delores Birdwell; stepdaughter, Savannah Howard; stepson, Andrew Howard and pet companion, Bo.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 30, 2024 from 12:30 pm until 2:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 2:30 pm at Eagles Landing Baptist Church Cemetery (formerly Teamon Road Baptist Church Cemetery). Pastor Ken Horton will officiate.

Conner-Westbury Funeral Home 1891 W. McIntosh Road is in charge of arrangements.
