MaryAnn and AnnaMarie,
I am so very sorry to hear this news, and to hear it so long afterwards. I had not heard until just about an hour ago. MaryAnn, I don't know if you will recall the time when we talked a few years ago after my cancer diagnosis and your sweet Mom had me call you about doctors and stuff. You were so kind to me, thanks again for that. I know that I told you how very much I loved your dear Mother and how special she was to me and my family. I hope you remember.
And I hope you will forgive me for not being able to be there for her the last couple years. And please forgive me for not being there to be of any support or to even say goodbye, or for any support for you and your daughter. Due to my multiple health problems and other terrible troubles my life has been so difficult and overwhelming, and I hadn't been able to see her or even talk on the phone much for a long while. I was just feeling so bad that I hadn't been able to do anything for her for Christmas and that I hadn't even called. I will never forgive myself for letting the time and opportunities to talk with her pass by. I hate that I can't ever get that time back that I could've shared with her. I'm so sorry that I let her down.
I have known your Mom for most of my life and she was always was so good to me. She treated me like I was special and let me know I was loved by her. And she always remembered my birthdays and my family's. She was there for me when I graduated from high school and college. She was there for me when I got married. And she treated my husband and later my sons with love and kindness too. She would bake my boys cookies and other treats. And she often did it "just because", not just because of a special occasion or holiday.
And she loved you and AnnaMarie (and those babies) so very much. She was always so very proud of you both and always talked about how great you both were. She was always sharing with me how smart you were and she was so proud of all that you'd done. She overflowed with love for you all.
She made this world a better place! Her love, kindness, and affection meant so very much to me growing up and still does to this day...it always will. She was a wonderful and very special Lady. Thank you for sharing her with the rest of us!

Mary Ann, Anna Marie...I am so so very sorry to hear about the passing of Ms. Jean. I know your hearts are breaking as she will be missed so much by you guys. I have had the pleasure of getting to know you both thru my talks with Ms. Jean at Lowe's. I have truly loved waiting on her all these years She was so proud of you both and spoke so highly of you all as well as the new grandbabies. I will miss her dearly as she was a wonderful customer, friend and family to me. She would always seek me out and make my day with a smile and a big ole hug. I loved our visits together as she was truly like family to me. I loved the treats she would slip into the store with, the candy, the homemade oatmeal raison cookies and the chocolate covered nuts. We shared so many laughs and stories together. I am so glad that we became so close as I truly loved her like my family.
I am so sorry to hear that she has passed and pray the God will comfort you all at this time.

I met Mrs. Crawley at the Walmart grocery store. We stood in the aisle and talked for a very long time. She was a very sweet lady. Iwas hoping to see her again one day but we did not exchange phone numbers. Sorry to hear she passed I prayed for her everyday. May God give you all comfort knowing that she is at home with Him.

Mary Ann I am so sorry to hear about your mom. I would run into her at the Kroger or Walmart and we would talk to each other. She talked about you, your daughter and the babies all the time. May God be with each of you during this difficult time. Y'all are in my thoughts and prayers.
