Jeanette A. Gresham

Mrs. Jeanette Autry Gresham, age 85 of Griffin, passed away on August 3, 2019 at The Hope House.

Mrs. Gresham was born in Griffin, Georgia on February 11, 1934. She is preceded in death by her parents, Dallas and Stella Harrison Autry, her husband, Harold Eugene “Gene” Gresham; brother, Ralph Autry. Mrs. Gresham graduated from Spalding High School, was retired from Griffin Area Technical School, is a member of North Griffin Congregational Holiness Church. She had a Servant’s Heart and would visit hospitals and nursing homes, to help those in need.

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, April and Marshall Woodall, Dee Dee and Tony Coker; grandchildren, Anna Maisonet, Zoey Coker; great- grandchildren, Alyssa Maisonet, Braden Maisonet; sister, Ruth Crutcher and husband Mike; sister-in-law, Ann Autry; several nieces and nephews; her pet companion, Sallie. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the Staff and Residents of The Woods Senior Care and Eternal Hope Hospice.

Visitation will be Wednesday, August 7, 2019 from 12:00 noon until 2:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home, with a funeral service following in the Chapel. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
