Jeffery Keith O'Dell

Mr. Jeffery Keith O’Dell, age 66 of Griffin, passed away on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at his residence.

Mr. O’Dell was born in Griffin, Georgia on November 20, 1951. He is preceded in death by parents, Milton Ray O’Dell and Betty Jean Glass O’Dell White. Mr. O’Dell served in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He had a great passion for God’s creations, loving nature, birds and the lake behind his home.

He is survived by his step father, James R. “Bob” White; brother and sister in law, Rodney and Vanora O’Dell; sisters and brothers in law, Kathy and Geoffrey Wells, Rhonda and Danny Blackman, Barbara Vaughn, Jan and Phil Treadway; step sister, Ginger and Roger Shipman; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Jeffery Keith O’Dell will be Sunday, April 8, 2018 from 2:00 pm until 3:30 pm at the Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Following the visitation a memorial service will be conducted in the chapel of Conner-Westbury. Reverend Tom Summers will officiate. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Dr. Mark Crump, Dr. Vipin Lohiya of Piedmont Cancer Institute whom he and Keith had grown a great rapport with each other, and also to Chaplin Rob and Nurse Judy of Compassus Hospice.
