Jennifer Faye Pitts Williams age 46 of Forsyth, Georgia passed away unexpectedly but peacefully on Sunday, November 25, 2018 at her residence.
Jennifer was affectionately known as “Doobie” to her brother Jay and close friends and family. She was named after her grandmother, Faye Crane whom she loved dearly. Jennifer was born in Griffin, Georgia on December 3, 1971. She was a 1990 graduate of Griffin High School. She had a very loving heart as has been made evident by all the comments expressed by her many friends and loved ones. She was fiercely protective of her friends and family
and once she befriended you, you were friends forever, Jennifer was very talented and enjoyed baking beautiful cakes for all occasions. She also did etchings in glass, and decorating for all occasions.
Jennifer is survived by her husband, Kirk Williams, “The Man of Her Dreams”, and son Tanner Williams whom she loved more than life itself. Her parents, Jerry and Rita Pitts Sr of Griffin; brother and sister-in-law, Jay and Suzanne Pitts and their children, Mackenzie, Megan and Mollie of Meansville, Ga. Mother-in-law Marian Winters, Father-in-law Warren Williams; special sister Kelley Gregory as well as aunts, uncles and cousins, Peggy and Mayson Crane, Shawn Crane Martin and Chris Martin, and Jill Crane Warren and Jimmy Warren; Julia Flournoy, Cole and Sally Flournoy; Randy and Betsy Crane, C J Crane and Rebecca Crane, Brandon and Lindsey Crane Grubbs, Chase Crane; Tammy and Keith Jones, and Tiffany Wimberley.
Visitation for Jennifer Faye Pitts Williams will be Saturday, December 1, 2018, from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm in the activity center at Oak Hill Baptist Church, Griffin. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held, Rev. John Nance officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family would like you to consider contributing to the Griffin Humane Society, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or any Animal Rescue organization in memory of Jennifer.
