Mr. Jerry Lamar Garner, age 70 passed away Thursday, May 18, 2017 at his residence.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Hollis & Louise Garner; sister, Eunice Brown; brothers, Frank Garner and Fred Garner; brothers-in-law, Lee Helms, Doug Biles, Dean Ray, and Arlise Bowman. He worked at Holan’s welding, Pryor Oil Company, drywall, master construction worker. He attended Christian Fellowship Baptist Church of Zebulon, Georgia.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Carol Garner; daughters and sons-in-law, Cindy and Greg Butler, Lisa and Shannon Walker; grandchildren, Tony and Anna Goodman, Hannah and Lonnie Selph, Justin Goodman, Justin Statham, Sladen Goodman, Haley and Matt Turner, Jeremy Walker, Amanda and Jason Bonner, Levi Walker; great grandchildren, Codey, Coleman and Mason Goodman, Julia, Elizabeth and Gracie Goodman, Freya Selph, Fletcher and Sutton Bonner, Phoenix Aurora Turner due in September; brothers, Phil Garner, Barry Garner; sisters, Sara Helms, Sandra Biles, Patricia Ray and Sherry Bowman; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Jerry Lamar Garner will be on Friday, May 19, 2017 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Conner Westbury Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Reverend Al Shackelford officiating. Interment will follow in Old Hebron Cemetery in Concord, Georgia.
