Jerry Turner

Jerry Gene Turner, age 82 of Griffin, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, May 23, 2023.

Jerry was born in Griffin, Georgia on January 30, 1941. His wife, Mary Jean Kennedy Turner, parents; Thomas W. and Addie Mae Crane Turner, sisters, Peggy Turner, Merie English, Claudette Smith, Vivian Reeves, and brother, James L. Turner all preceded him in death. Jerry was retired from the FAA as an Automation Specialist. He was a member of Sunnyside United Methodist Church.

Survivors include stepson, Harold Sharp and wife Delores; stepdaughter, Sandra Broom and husband Wiley, brother-in-law, M.T. English; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be Thursday, May 26, 2023 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A graveside service will be Friday, May 27, 2023 at 11:00 am at the Oak Hill Mausoleum. Captain Jack Butler will officiate.
