Jimmy Lee Stansbury

Jimmy Lee Stansbury, age 75, of Griffin, Georgia passed away on April 29, 2021.

Mr. Stansbury was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh and Josephine Stansbury; brother, Bob Stansbury and sister, Betty Butcher.

Jimmy was a proud veteran of the United States Army. He was a member of the VFW, American Legion and the Vietnam Vets of America. He also volunteered for “We Honor Vets” hospice program and Horses and Warriors.

He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Anne Stansbury, daughter, Morgan McConnell (Shawn); grandchildren, Elizabeth Jordan Robinson (Michael), Molly Victoria Jones; brother, Sam Stansbury (Shirley), and sister, Carolyn Bell (Bob).

Visitation will be Monday, May 3, 2021 from 2:00 pm until 3:30 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 3:30 in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. The family asks that contributions be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in memory of Mr. Jimmy Stansbury.
