Jody Stonica Norton

Jody Stonica Norton, age 87 of Griffin, passed away on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at Brightmoor.

Jody was born in Boone, North Carolina on February 1, 1935. She is preceded in death by her parents, John Bynum Crisp and Ada Banner Crisp, husband, Harvey Norton, stepdaughter, Sandra Norton Breedlove, daughter-in-law, Cindy Stonica and sister, Sandra Crisp.

Mrs. Norton previously worked for Drs. Skinner, Austin, The Griffin-Spalding County Hospital and retired after 25 years from Dundee Mills Office. She was a member of Griffin First Assembly and a member of the Prayer Group.

Survivors include children, Rusty Stonica (Lisa), Cindy Bachelder (Donny), John Stonica, Scott Stonica (Jackie); 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; step children, Terry Norton (Dianne), Wanda Shivers (Rick); several step grandchildren, step great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation for Mrs. Norton will be Monday, June 20, 2022 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home followed by a memorial service in the chapel. Pastor Jennifer Creswell will officiate. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity in memory of Jody.
