Joe Sampler

Mr. Richard Joseph (Joe) Sampler age 79 of Griffin, passed away Saturday, January 4, 2020 at Brightmoor Hospice.

Joe was a lifelong resident of Griffin. He retired from Dundee Mill. He was husband of the late Mary Belle Hillhouse Sampler who was born May 22, 1942 and passed away May 29, 2019, they were married for 44 years and have been reunited together again after her passing in May.

Joe and Mary were the anchor and rock of the family, and daddy to 6 and step daddy to 4, proud grandparents of many and great grandparents to many more.

A visitation will be Tuesday, January 7, 2020 from 6:00pm until 8:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A funeral service will be on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at 4:00 pm in the chapel of Conner-Westbury. Interment will follow in the Griffin Memorial Gardens.
