Joey Pruitt

Joseph William “Joey” Pruitt, age 53 of Griffin, passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2022 at WellStar North Fulton.

Joey was born in Atlanta, Georgia on July 7, 1969. His father William “Billy” Pruitt preceded him in death. He was an artist, loved playing guitar, and most time you could find him working, creating, or playing on his computer. 

Survivors include his wife, Jennifer Jones Pruitt; mother, Sandra Pruitt; brother, Jason Pruitt (Molli); nieces, Hailee Kate Pruitt, Kacey Brooke Trudelle; nephew, Jayden Jones; grandmother, Violet Fomby; many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be Wednesday, November 30, 2022 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow in the chapel officiated by Pastor Wade Corley. Interment will be in Westwood Gardens. Flowers will be accepted or contribution may be made to Atlanta Autism Consortium, https://atlautism.org/.
