John Allen Walker

John Allen Walker, age 82, from Griffin, passed away on September 12, 2021. John loved life, his family, nature, airplanes, and to travel. He enjoyed his farm life, especially mowing the grass with his tractor. John was very active throughout his life.

John was born in Atlanta, GA on July 10, 1939. He proudly served the United States Air Force, and was a member of New Salem Baptist Church. John was preceded in death by his son, John Walker, Jr. He is survived by his wife, Victoria Walker; his children, Jennifer Walker (Mary-Ann), Slade Walker (Wendy), Scott Walker (Aida), James Lawson, William Lawson, (Cheryl); grandchildren, Leah Lawson, Jakob Walker, Brittany Sage, Casey Morna, Kayla Harless, Connor Lawson, Cade Lawson, Jeremiah Walker; several great-grandchildren; sister, Deborah Walker; brother, James Walker.

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, September 19, 2021 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A Visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 pm. The family is requesting for everyone to wear a mask and follow all the protocols for Covid-19.
