Mr. John Peter Bauer, age 92 of Conyers, Georgia passed away on Monday, September 18, 2017 at Westbury Health and Rehabilitation Center in Conyers. Hospital.

Mr. Bauer was born July 6, 1925 in Munich, Germany. He is preceded in death by his parents Hans and Lina Illing Bauer; one sister and one brother. Mr. Bauer retired as an insurance manager with Century Insurance. Mr. Bauer was also a veteran of the United States Navy. Until the last recent year’s he was also very active in Meals on Wheels.

He is survived by his wife Delores Emerson Bauer of Conyers; sons Philip Bauer of Conyers, Jeffry (Charlotte) Bauers of Conyers and niece Jackie (Mark) Shanahan of Madison, WI.

Mr. Bauer requested to be cremated and no services are scheduled at this time.
