John H. Blair

Mr. John H. Blair, age 82 of Molena, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at Upson regional Medical Center. John was born on December 5, 1938 in Tampa, Florida. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jim Blair and Sally Ash Blair; daughter, Leilani Blair Thomas; nephews, Jose Blair, Sr., Augustus Lester. John served his country in the United States Army from 1961 until 1965 during the Vietnam War in the Medical Core. He was an Entrepreneur in the restaurant business having owned and operated a Mazzio’s Pizza franchise. Mr. Blair was a great man and a fine baseball coach for the Dixie Youth. He had a passion for arts and crafts, especially painting. 

Survivors include his wife, Glenda Mori Blair; children, John K. Blair, Jason Blair, Iwalani Blair; siblings, Sadie B. Lester, Peter J. Blair, George E. Blair; grandchildren, Tyler Blair, Brett Blair, Nolan Blair, Brandon Blair; nieces and nephews, Delarosa Blair, Sr., Chico Blair and wife Melissa, Trina Blair Pope and husband Corlus, Sheila Blair, Angela Fliegleman and husband Mark, Cynthia Anderson, terry Gaines and wife Patricia, Ned Ruffin, Dwight Blair and wife Janice, Serona Blair.

Visitation will be on Saturday, January 30, 2021 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Following the visitation a Funeral Service will be conducted in the Chapel with Pastor Mike Freeman officiating. Interment will be in Georgia National Cemetery.
