Johnina Young

Mrs. Johnina Payne Young, age 64 of Griffin, Georgia passed away on Monday, January 18, 2021 at her residence.
Johnina was born in Miami, Florida on August 15, 1956. She is preceded in death by her parents, John Payne and Ethyl Maye Walta Payne. She was a homemaker and loved taking care of her family. She loved photography, drawing, and painting; she was always an artist at heart.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas Young, six children and their spouses, Jonathan Young, Sarah and Robert Faix, Benjamin Young, Laura and Dan Downing, Emily Young, Jeremy Young and fiancée, Billie Brand; eleven grandchildren, Mason Young, Tyler Young, Alexis Young, Brianna Young, Damian Dietrich, Robert Faix Jr, Abigail Faix, William Faix, Hayden Kennedy, Wyatt Kennedy, Serena Young; two great grandchildren; brother, Rod; two sisters Pamela and Frances; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Friday, January 22, 2021 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A funeral service will be on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at 10:00 AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 605 Maddox Road. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
