Joseph Charles Binder, age 23 of Griffin, Georgia, passed away Thursday, June 2, 2022 at Atlanta Medical Center.
Joseph was born in Griffin, Georgia and was a 2017 graduate of Griffin High School. He was studying to become a pastor through Liberty University and worked at Ingles. Joseph always sought to fulfill Acts 20:24 and to be the church with no walls. He loved Jesus, the Atlanta Braves, and the Georgia Bulldogs.
Survivors include his parents, Stephen and Amy Binder; sisters, Allison Crawley and Anna Binder; grandparents, Charles and Sandy Crawley of Griffin and Paul and Geraldine Binder of Franklin, PA; aunts and uncles, Amanda Travail and partner Bill Strauf, Tiffany and Shane Thomas, and Patricia Williams and Steve Lumpkin; cousins, Magan Norton (Brett), Jacob Cline, Blakelynn Williams, Isaac Cline, Kaydn Williams, Gabriel Cline, Buck Thomas, Mason Thomas, and Mia Rhody; special loved ones that loved Joseph like a brother, Jessica Hightower, Idaja Driver, Kiana Morton, Jacob Jones, and Mathew Jones; and a host of friends and family.
A worship service and celebration of Joseph’s life will be Saturday, June 11, 2022 at 2 p.m. at Rock Springs Church. Please wear Atlanta Braves or Georgia Bulldogs attire. Dr. Benny Tate and Pastor Clay Chasteen will officiate. The family will receive visitors after the service.
