Joseph Martin, age 85, of Griffin passed away, Sunday, July 8, 2018.
Mr. Martin was born April 15, 1933. He is preceded in death by his parents, Boyd Martin and Mary Emma Willoughby Martin; son, Joseph Martin; siblings, Madison Martin, Doug Martin, Mary Dorrough, Carolyn Culverson, Johnny Martin. He was a veteran of the United States Army and served in the Koran War. Mr. Martin was a lifelong truck driver.
He is survived by his children, William Worley, Deborah Cone and husband Doug, Donnie Martin and wife Andrea, Janice Gunnels and husband Wes, Carolyn Melton, Shirley Miller, Tammie Walters and husband Scott, Rocky Martin; sister, Jeanie Culverson and husband Roger; 21 grandchildren, numerous great and great-great grandchildren.
A visitation will be on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 from 11:00am until 1:00pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Following the visitation the funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of Conner-Westbury. Reverend Doug Cone will officiate. Interment will follow at Griffin Memorial Gardens.
