Judith Embry

Mrs. Judith “Judy” Embry, age 73 of Williamson, passed away on Friday, May 10, 2019 at Spalding Regional Hospital.

Mrs. Embry was born in Burlington, Iowa on July 10, 1945. She is preceded in death by her parents, Leland Hill and Louise Malone Hill; husband, Welby E. Embry; daughter, Paula York; siblings, David Stewart and Joyce Frye. Mrs. Embry was a loving mother and grandmother.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Mike Embry and wife, Melissa of Griffin; daughters and sons-in-law, Kris Hambrick and husband, Ricky of Barnesville, Cheryl Wright and husband, David of Williamson; grandchildren, Jason York of Houston, Texas, Jessie York of Houston, Texas, Kyle Embry and wife, Summer of Lamar Co., Kevin Embry and wife, Jordan of Jackson, Valentina Embry of Griffin, Matthew Embry of Griffin, Ashley Nicole Davis and husband, Kevin of Barnesville, Jessica Wright and husband, Poindexter of Williamson, Amber Wright and husband, Josh Bowles of Jackson, Anna Rumpf and husband, Josh of Williamson and Justin Hemmings; great-grandchildren, Dylan, Cameron, Kiristen, Kadyn, Austin, Jacob, Ryleigh, Jace, Edward, Aubree, Cameron, David, Richard and Preston; siblings, Robbin Stewart, Pete Stewart and Ronnie Kunkel.

Visitation for Judith “Judy” Embry will be Tuesday, May 14, 2019 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A funeral service will be Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury. Pastor Shannon McCubbins will officiate. Interment will follow in Griffin Memorial Gardens.
