Julia Ellenwood

Ms. Julia Samantha Ellenwood, age 75 of Griffin, Georgia passed away on Thursday, April 28, 2022.

Julia was born in Savannah, Georgia on September 24, 1946. Her parents Wilber Allyn and Martha S. Ellenwood preceded her in death. She graduated from Macon College with a degree in Nursing. She was a registered nurse at several facilities in the Spalding County area, including nursing homes and hospitals, until she retired. She was an avid reader and a faithful member of Ringgold Church.

Survivors include her sister, Lois Ellenwood Hall, brothers, Steven Cadow Ellenwood, and Wilbur Allyn Ellenwood, Jr.; nephews, Robert Hall, Stephen Hall, Jared Ellenwood, and great-niece, Phadera Hall.

Visitation for Julia will be Thursday, May 5, 2022 from 1:30 pm until 3:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow in the Chapel. Interment for Julia will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Griffin.
